Draft for the test version. These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before Lekhira Writes opens to the public.

Privacy

What we keep. Your name, email address, a scrambled (hashed) form of your password, your books and chapters, earlier versions of chapters, your writing settings, and how many words you write each day.

What we don’t do. We don’t show ads, use trackers or analytics scripts, sell or share your data, or read your books. Your writing is never used to train AI.

Cookies. One cookie keeps you signed in. It can’t be read by scripts or sent from other sites.

Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it sends them.

Your control. In Account you can download everything we hold about you, sign out other devices, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your books, versions and settings from our database straight away.

Terms

Your work is yours. You keep full ownership and copyright of everything you write. We store and show it to you only to run the service.

Free plan. Lekhira Writes is free. If we ever offer paid extras, the ability to write, save and export your words will stay free.

Fair use. Don’t use Lekhira Writes to break the law, attack the service, or store content that isn’t yours to store. We may limit or close accounts that do.

Test version. This is an early version. We work hard to keep your writing safe, but please download a copy of important work from time to time.
